Pumpkin Pie Protein Smoothie

This pumpkin pie protein smoothie is the perfect breakfast option for Fall in Texas… It’s still too hot for soup and other hot, autumn-appropriate recipes, so this smoothie will keep you cool and satisfy your desire for pumpkin spiced everything.

This smoothie lacks any refined sugar and is high in protein, gluten-free, and just plain yummy... But most importantly, it's 100% braces friendly!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup yogurt (plain, vanilla, or a pumpkin-flavored yogurt would be best)

  • 1 frozen banana

  • ½ tsp pumpkin pie spice

  • ⅓ cup unsweetened almond milk

  • 1 tbsp maple syrup

  • ½ cup pumpkin puree

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder of your choice

  • ice

Instructions

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and add ice to desired thickness. Blend till smooth.
